Melissa Dewing, ARNP is the newest member of Natura Medspa. Her background as a nurse and Nurse Practitioner has been in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Medical Weight Loss and Aesthetic Medicine. She was trained in 2012 in Facial Aesthetics, Neurotoxins and Dermal Fillers with a well known facial plastic surgeon in Washington DC. Her medical experience and love for aesthetics provide Melissa a profound understanding of health, wellness and beauty. She strives to achieve total health in all her patients, reflecting the client’s best outcomes for looking good and feeling good. Her approach focuses on enhancing her client’s natural beauty while restoring their youth through the body’s unique ability to rebuild collagen, elastin and fibrin; the key components of creating a youthful appearance.

Favorite Treatment
If asked about my favorite procedure or treatment to perform, I would say “I love them all!” But to narrow it down, I must say that I do really have a special place in my heart and hands for lips. The lips are the perfect complement to the face, creating harmony and balance. The lips have the unique power to add masculinity or feminity to any face. I just love lips!
PDO threads are one of my favorites. The jowl area is a major complaint of many clients and is a point of change as we age. PDO lifting threads excel at modifying this area, restoring a youthful appearance. They are also great for providing a lift to the neck as an added benefit.
Tips
Always set realistic expectations for any procedure or treatment!
It is important to know and to tell your practitioner what you like and dislike.
Don’t love it or hate it for two weeks. Healing takes time.
