What Is

Discover How to Be Your Best Self Again!

BOTOX® is an injectable neuromodulator used in procedures that have been approved by the FDA. It is used to treat different conditions and disorders. Although it is considered and thought by many to be a purely cosmetic procedure, BOTOX® has been proven to be an effective treatment for excessive sweating, chronic migraines, different muscle spasms, bladder overactivity, and other conditions.

BOTOX® is currently one of the most effective non-surgical cosmetic procedures used to deal with facial wrinkles, and at Natura Medspa in Parkland, we offer you the best BOTOX® treatment along with the best results. Wrinkles can be a result of muscle overuse and overactivity, and, with 43 muscles in your face, there’s a lot of room for wrinkles to form. Wrinkles, creases, and lines on your skin can also be attributed to ultraviolet (UV) light exposure, smoking, aging, and repeated facial expressions.

We at Natura Medspa specialize in delivering the best processes and procedures to renew your skin to the natural and youthful look that you desire. Most of our clients and patients that come for our BOTOX®, Xeomin, or Dysport injections prefer the more natural look, but if you are looking for more of a sharp, frozen look, our specialists can provide that as well. Our treatments surpass the tens of thousands of procedures done since 2006, and our aestheticians at Natura Medspa in Parkland know exactly which muscles to treat and which ones to avoid in order to give you just what you need.

We consider BOTOX® procedures to be both an art and a science. All of our services are performed by aestheticians who have achieved the highest levels of certifications and credentials available. Our efforts and practices have earned us the recognition and trust of our wonderful clientele, which is reflected in our high number of five-star reviews.

Benefits of using BOTOX®

1 - non surgical

1. It’s a Non-Surgical Procedure.

There’s more than one approach to fixing the lines, creases, crow’s feet and wrinkles in your face. Many aesthetic needs can be solved with surgical interventions, these solutions are only temporary since the skin on your face inevitably keeps aging. In addition, the cost of surgery and the recovery time outweigh the results because not long after the procedure, your skin will follow its natural path and be back to where it was before the surgery took place.

BOTOX® is considered a non-invasive or minimally invasive procedure. For this reason, it can offer a quick, almost nonexistent recovery time for results that are often even more aesthetically pleasing than surgery.

2 - better cost better results

2. Better Cost, Better Results.

The thought of cosmetic procedures for many people raises the “expensive” flag automatically. For BOTOX® that is not the case. Honestly, nothing is better than free care for your skin. But when the time comes, and you realize there’s no turning back, BOTOX® is the solution you should be looking for. BOTOX® injections can range from $170 to $500 depending on a number of factors that your specialist considers at the moment of your assessment. On the other hand, other procedures can rack up thousands of dollars, with sometimes hundreds more needed for recovery alone.

3 - Natural Look

3. You Obtain That Natural Look You Desire!

Plastic surgery is known for some notorious results. Many times these results look overdone and exaggerated; this is because the surgery is meant to modify the natural shapes and contours that make your face unique. BOTOX®, on the other hand, gives you a natural, youthful look since it focuses on smoothing your skin and making it look relaxed, dealing in this way with all those unwanted lines and creases that have formed on your face. It gives you the opportunity to show a new, refreshing face to the world, and not an irreversibly modified you.

4 - Time

4. Time is on Your Side With BOTOX®

You might know someone who has gotten facial plastic surgery, if you do, you might have noticed that it took them at least a month to start seeing results after the swelling began to reduce. Added to that, they probably had to undergo two weeks of recovery. BOTOX® gives you the advantage of having barely any recovery time and minimal side effects, so you can be back on your activities in no time. BOTOX® also takes only between three to seven days to take full effect.

Don’t make your glances in the mirror be something that you dread. If you are tired of seeing those wrinkles and creases, then it might be time for you to schedule an appointment with Natura Medspa in Parkland to get your BOTOX® and microneedling procedures at our spa-like aesthetic center. Our priority is to satisfy your needs with the best results and the most professional team of specialized aestheticians. Contact us today!

What is Microneedling?

To start talking about microneedling we have to know what collagen does for us. Collagen is the most abundant protein found in your body and it’s the major component of connective tissue that makes up several body parts, including your skin. One of the most important functions of collagen is providing your skin with structure. It may also benefit the skin’s elasticity and hydration.

Aging affects our skin directly. With the passage of time, our bodies do not produce as much collagen as it did in previous years. Collagen production starts diminishing once we reach our mid-20s and from then on it continues to slow down year after year. The levels of collagen decrease approximately one to two percent every year. Collagen is the main substance in our skin that makes it look smooth and youthful, hence why people look to curtail its decrease throughout the later years. Nature Medispa in Parkland not only seeks to stop the decrease in collagen production, but also strives to improve its generation. That’s where microneedling comes in.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure used to help improve the look of scars, promote collagen production, and encourage hair growth. Microneedling works by creating microscopic punctures in the skin to promote the aforementioned benefits. It consists of the insertion of fine, short needles into the skin to help rejuvenate the skin. The sensation has been compared to a pin-prick feeling as it only penetrates the surface-level layer of the skin.

Some of the benefits of Microneedling are:

  • It’s a minimally invasive procedure
  • It promotes collagen production, which strengthens, hydrates, and adds elasticity to the skin
  • Offers almost immediate results
  • It can stimulate ongoing collagen and elastin production
  • It can stimulate dormant hair follicles
  • It can be combined with other cosmetic procedures for enhanced results

BOTOX® & Microneedling

Collagen induction therapy, or microneedling, works together with BOTOX® injections to improve your skin, making it look more youthful and radiant. Both of these procedures are considered to be skin-penetrating, and therefore should not be done simultaneously. While it is a minimally-invasive procedure, microneedling does penetrate the skin in order to generate new collagen and tissue. Because of this, your skin will need some time to recover before you can receive BOTOX® injections, as these injections are only safe and effective for intact skin.

Here at Natura Medspa in Parkland, we are delighted to hear from you. If you have further questions about these procedures or would like to know how they can be applied to you, please contact us — one of our specialists will be happy to assist you. Dermal Fillers

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are made of materials that are found in your body, such as calcium hydroxylapatite, a mineral-like compound found in bones, and hyaluronic acid, a substance found in some fluids and tissues in the body that add plumpness to the skin. The combination of these and other materials creates a substance that can be injected below the surface of the skin to help “fill in” wrinkles or creases. Its main purpose is to replace the lost subcutaneous fat that previously cushioned and assisted the facial muscles in working with the skin. Without this fat, things like smile lines and crow’s feet become more apparent. Depending on the individual, dermal fillers can last from six to 12 months. The procedure can be completed in as little as 10 minutes, allowing the patient to return to their daily activities in no time.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers can be used to:

  • Soften facial wrinkles and creases
  • Reconstruct facial shape
  • Enhance contours
  • Plump thin lips
  • Fill areas that appear to be sagging
  • Augment areas like the cheeks, chin, and jawline

BOTOX® & Dermal Fillers

These two procedures can be combined for fuller and fresher-looking skin. While BOTOX® creates that smooth look and feel, the dermal fillers help improve the contour of your face by getting rid of your more prominent creases and lines.

If you are looking for even more amazing results, the combination of BOTOX®, dermal fillers, and microneedling can give you the look that you have been searching for! With expertise in what these three great methods have to offer, we can show you how they can be combined. If you are looking to regain that youthful look with natural results, then contact Natura Medspa in Parkland to schedule our stacked service procedure.

Other BOTOX®-Like Products

BOTOX® is not the only product that you can find out there to treat and manage wrinkles, lines, and creases. Xeomin and Dysport are also neuromodulators, which are substances that alter the nerve impulse transmissions.

The main difference between BOTOX®, Xeomin, and Dysport is that Xeomin contains just one ingredient: botulinum toxin A. This means that Xeomin is the purest of the three, yet the difference in manufacturing processes and ingredients makes each one of these products have potentially different clinical uses.

Xeomin has some advantages over BOTOX®. The purity of the product reduces the chances of rejection by the body, and the product can be stored without the need for refrigeration. Thanks to this, storing and transporting Xeomin is more affordable, offering those who distribute this product to give their clients lower prices, which, in turn, becomes more cost-effective for the final consumer.

In a blind study of 300 participants comparing Xeomin and BOTOX®, the results showed no evident differences between the two. However, depending on many factors, our bodies can metabolize these neuromodulators in different ways. One of the factors can be attributed to the seasons. If you have any questions about if you should be changing your modulators at any time to achieve different results, you can ask us during your free consultation at Natura Medspa.

Dysport averages lower on price per unit depending on the location, but it usually requires double the dose. Although when it comes to showing results, the Dysport procedure can yield visible results in approximately 24 hours. BOTOX® results appear around the three-day mark, while Xeomin’s results show usually five days after the injections. Many users have said that Xeomin delivered results as quickly as the first day.

Each treatment has its own duration time depending on the patient who receives the procedure. The effects of Xeomin last anywhere from three to four months. BOTOX® will last between three to six months, and Dysport can last up to three months before it starts wearing off.

There’s a lot of information revolving around each product. Between prices, lasting time, effectiveness, and more, we want you to feel confident that you are making the right decision about which procedure is best for achieving your desired results while staying within your budget. Contact Natura Medspa for your free consultation, and we will be happy to help you with all your questions.
