The Restylane® Injection Treatment
How to Prepare for a Restylane® Injection
Restylane® procedures are only minimally invasive. Nevertheless, you will be asked to take some simple steps to ensure your skin is ready for treatment. If you are currently taking aspirin or ibuprofen, you will likely need to stop seven to ten days before your session.
Because HA bonds with water molecules in your body to create volume, you’ll also need to make sure you’re drinking plenty of water leading up to your appointment. That means dehydrating substances such as salty foods and alcoholic beverages are discouraged starting three days prior.
What to Expect After a Restylane® Injection
Your Restylane® injection will take less than an hour and should not require any special recovery time. Patients see the volumizing effects almost immediately and are able to enjoy smoother-looking skin. Results typically last up to a year or longer.
Minimal swelling, redness, or itching might occur for a week or two, but you should not experience any interruption in your daily routine. In fact, plenty of patients receive their treatment during their lunch break and then head right back to work!

Alternative and Complementary Treatments
We have the best Restylane® injectors in South Florida, who are continuously striving to provide all possible options to our patients. There are many alternative types of Restylane® besides the original formula, depending on your exact aesthetic concerns. In many cases, a patient may receive more than one simultaneously to address multiple symptoms.
Our injectors might recommend one or more of these Restylane® formulas for the following purposes:
- Restylane® Kysse – Improves lip volume and treats “smoker’s lines” (perioral lip lines)
- Restylane® Refyne – Treats mild to moderate marionette lines and laugh lines
- Restylane® Defyne – Treats more severe marionette and laugh lines, restores chin and jawline volume
- Restylane® Lyft – Restores volume to cheeks and the midface
Frequently Asked Questions
Am I a good candidate for Restylane®?
Most patients who are not currently pregnant, breastfeeding, under the age of 21, or allergic to any of the ingredients are fantastic candidates for Restylane®. But to make sure it is the best fit for your cosmetic goals, you’ll first meet with one of the best Restylane® injectors in South Florida, located at Natura Medspa, for an initial consultation.
Your medical history will be carefully reviewed, and you’ll have the opportunity to express your objectives and concerns. If approved, we can then develop your individualized Restylane® treatment plan.
What happens during a Restylane® Injection?
Restylane® injections are performed at Natura Medspa in Parkland. Most patients find the lidocaine in the injectable solution to be sufficient to prevent pain, but we are able to provide an additional topical numbing cream if requested. A series of injections will then be made into the targeted areas to achieve your desired effects.
How much does Restylane® cost?
The price of a Restylane® procedure usually depends on your symptoms and how many injections are required to address those concerns. Other variations of Restylane® will have their own cost that needs to be calculated separately.
